I bought the M4S with the ARD and the QRP mount. The mount is worth the extra money. You cannot over tighten the optic and damage your rail, and this helps with it maintaining its zero because you get the same torque on every time you mount it. It also makes it so easy to install on your rail. The knob is a nice size and I can manipulate it with my gloves on. A couple of twists and the knob will pop (kind of like and torque wrench) and it is on. I took this Aimpoint out of the box slapped it on my rifle and went out to shoot. It was dead on out of the box. I took it off and put it on two other rifles and it was very accurate. This optic is very light and makes the weapon faster on target. The dot is nice and bright and if you leave the unit on it will not kill the batteries like my EOTech. The eye relief is basically unlimited. You can mount this anywhere you want on your rail and you can see through it. I have E0Techs, Trijicon ACOGS, and a Leupold mark 4 CQT and this is by far my favorite optics for out to about 300 yards. I highly recommend this optic to anyone who shoots.
