The Wilson AG Soho 65 Cell Phone Signal Booster worked as advertised right out of the box. I was initially reluctant to purchase the kit as it is expensive. However, we live in a rural fringe area 30 miles southeast of Kansas City and the Sprint signal strength inside our house ranged between -0.93 db and -0.102 db according to the signal strength readings on our Samsung Galaxy S III's and we were tired of leaning against a window or going outside to get semi-decent signal. I installed a temporary setup with the Yagi outside on a deck, aimed north northeast towards a Sprint tower about 10 miles away in Odessa, MO. Running the cable through a window in the basement and up the stairs, I hooked up to the broadcast antenna inside the our house lying in a temporary location on our dining room table and plugged in the power. It took perhaps 5 seconds for the signal to stabilize and it was like night and day. I had an excellent Sprint -0.76 db (5 bar) signal and a friend who was helping me who has Verizon service had the same improvement with his cell phone one (1) bar to five (5) bars.

Following the manufacturer's directions we then made the installation permanent using an electrical penetration hole already present into the basement, through (above) the suspended ceiling in the basement, up through a cold air vent, and into the attic were we located the antenna under about 12 inches of blown in insulation against the sheet rock right above our breakfast area. I should note that the two 50 foot lengths of cable provided by Wilson with the kit gives ample cable for my particular installed configuration. I then decided to order the lightening arrestor with an accompanying two foot cable, both of which I should have ordered originally, installed it a week later, and the rest is history. We even have a decent signal in our basement as well as in our two car attached garage. I give the Wilson 65 cell phone signal booster 5 stars.
