Belkin Makes Good Products

I returned this item for the following reasons:

1 -- It was not compatible with the Belkin KVMs that I have. It's only compatible with the following:

F1DA104Z
F1DA108Z
F1DA116Z
F1DA108Q
F1DA116Q

I imagine that the ones we have are older

2 -- I wasn't concerned about the KVM that comes with this. I wanted the keyboard and monitor. However, you CANNOT use them without the KVM. I called Belkin and after going round and round with them I finally got the answer that you cannot do that..

The company that sells they socked me with a 15% restocking fee even though I only had the item one day and I returned in mint condition.

I'm sure that it's part of their return policy that Amazon likes to hid somewhere that you can never find... BOOO

I'm not sure it's a good idea to get a keyboard - monitor - KVM all combined. If any one of those goes out then the whole thing is useless.

If you do order this item you'll need the cables that go with it. It's not the VGA, PS2 or USB cables. You'll need the following:

F1D9401 - VGA - USB
F1D9400 - VGA - PS2

There's one cable for two computers. The port on the back of the KVM is looks kind of like a parallel port and two cables come out of it and these go to two different computers (1 and 2 or 3 and 4 ....)
