I live in a apartment in San Jose and get poor or spotty coverage in my place, with dropped calls on my T-Mobile iPhone. I would be very lucky to get 0.1Mbps data on Speednet. I could not install an antenna (it is an apartment complex), so when one of my friends told me about Cel-Fi, I decided to give it a try.

I installed Cel-Fi very fast - it took only a few minutes to plug the first unit next to the window (I had 1 bar coverage, which is enough according to the documentation), and the second unit in my living room. Both units communicate wirelessly, no cable or antenna was necessary, I could chose to put the units where I wanted which I thought was very cool. I got 4 to 5 bars in most of the rooms, and 4G on my iPhone. No more dropped calls so far. I got 5 to 7Mbps data rate on Speednet, something that I could only get in the street before. That is actually faster than my Wi-Fi! By specializing for T-Mobile, it guarantees that it covers T-Mobile very well.

I was most impressed by the easy installation and the high performance. Yes, it is a little bit more expensive than the other signal boosters out there, but considering the ease of installation and performance, I am very happy with it
