PSB M4U-2 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones (White) Review

I do alot of airplane travel and I (like others) enjoy HEARING my music. First things first, will these headsets take you to the NC level of the Bose QC15? NO, but they do block out enough background for you to hear your music and not eand up going deaf. What I really enjoy about these is a nice even sound. You will get "true to life bass", not overwhelming, but solid. The mids and highs are good. I tested these out right out of the box on everything from classical to rap- all gave accurate reproductions of the music. Initial fit was quite comfortable, after 3 hrs, there was a little "pinching" but slight adjustments to the ear cups took care of that. I was able to fall asleep in them, and when I woke up, they were in the same place. I listened to the Bose, and Beats models prior to my purchase (I realize that niether of these have great sound qualities) and the PSB's won out even with the slight drop in NC abilities. If you want to truly block out the entire rumble of the engine, and music is not a priority for you, then get the Bose. if you care even a little bit about good clear sounding music, get the PSB's.
