First off, I want to say that I absolutely love this card. I have been working on my PC piecemeal for the past six months, with the graphics card being the last thing I was going to buy (using integrated graphics until then).I originally was going to go with a GTX 680 4GB, but kept stalling due to the price. Eventually, I waited so long that the next generation of cards came out. Seeing this card as a substitute for the 680 (which it literally is), I bought it. Underneath the new labels, this card is fundamentally a 680 with a moderate overclock.
Performance is what is to be expected, that is, it's great. I would hope so, given the cost. The big question, I guess, is choosing between this card and its 2GB siblings. I went with the 4GB model because of how I game: I love mods, I love hi-res textures, I love all such things. If you do too, you should probably go with this card. I am already using 3.5GB of the available 4GB, but Skyrim has never looked better.
