Leupold 115387 Mark AR MOD 1 Rifle Review

I purchased this scope about 3 months ago from a local shop, and it has left me very impressed.

Pros - Light weight, excellent reticle, easy to use illumination, clearly marked turrets

Cons - markings on the turrets leave a little to be desired, as they don't always line up perfectly. Illumination can behave a little oddly at times, but that seems to be due to a weakening battery.

Overall, the scope works very well on my DMR-type rifle. At 1.5x it can be used effectively up close, or dialed up to 4x for longer shots. I have only been able to try the scope out to 300 yards, but the elevation turret does seem to be calibrated well for XM193 type ammunition.

One extra note - despite what is listed in the product description, this scope is NOT first focal plane, but a second focal plane optic.
