I bought 2 of these cpus for a 3d rendering workstation. Installed on an Asus P9PE-D8 WS motherboard with only 8 gigs of RAM. It works in conjuction with a GTX 560 Ti for excellent rendering using iray, bunkspeed, adobe after effects, solidworks, and adobe premier. It's great for a starter workstation like mine. Eventually, I will upgrade it. But, for now, it is GREAT!
