ProForm Power 1080i Treadmill Review
I received this treadmill on 2/25/13 and in two weeks the console started acting up. It would not respond to anything I try. So what ever speed or incline I start with I cannot change it and as I workout the incline starts going down until it reaches -3 and I cannot change it. Call customer service on 3/18/13 and was told that I needed a new console but it was out of stock. It it now 4/20/13 and it is still out of stock. I can not do the kind of training I would like with the console not responding. I put a review on proforms website but they are not showing it. Bad service. As for the treadmill itself I do find it to be well made. Now if I ever get the new console maybe I could enjoy it more.Update.
I finally received a new concole on 4/27/13 but the part of the console that screws on the the treadmill was broken so I e-mail proform and they sent the part that was boken. I got it in five days but guess what it was broken too. Again I e-mail proform and told them the part came broken. They sent me a new one and finally this one was not broken. I put the console on and everything is working fine now. So I had to wait from 3/18 to 5/9 to finally have a working treadmill. After all of this I can say that I do find the treadmill to be easy to use and I am getting good workouts on it. Only wish it would not have taken so long to get it fixed.
Anyone that has a proform treadmill and needs service I found e-mailing them is faster than calling. I will change my rating to three stars but not because I do not like the machine but for the service being so slow to get it repaired.
