I received this software as a Christmas gift. When I tried to install it, the program gave no install destination option and wrote to C: drive. My laptop, as many are now, has a small SSD C: Drive for windows and system files and a much larger E: Drive for installs and user data. All of my productivity, financial, and gaming software allow me the option of installing on a drive other than C:. Three rounds of RS techs (all India based) gave me the same advise update your system or RS will not function properly.

The license also only allows installation on a single computer. My wife and I do not share computers. We both work from our computers and scheduling sharing time would make it very difficult to bang out a lesson between appointments.

You are also forbidden from ever selling this software. And at this price, that's crazy.

I haven't found an alternative yet, but my copy of Rosetta Stone is being returned.
