Full disclosure, I purchased the i9200 from an eBay seller as there are no 16gb versions available for this device on amazon. Price was four seventy nine for the 16gb version. I found the 8gb version of this phone severely limited the amount of apps I could download. 16gb is perfect as I could download multiple 3D HD games like dead trigger, need for speed and ashphalt hd without filling up the phones internal storage. I also purchased the i9205 LTE version from Amazon about a month ago but I had to return that device since it had some issues.

I'm a Galaxy Note user who has had the note since September of 2011. When the Note 2 came out I decided to skip it because I didn't think it was that worthy of an upgrade. So the Note has been my primary device for almost 2 years.

Like you, I discovered the Mega 6.3 and began reading up on it and watching video reviews online. My initial worry was that it wouldn't be as fast as the current flagships and that I'd regret buying a device with last years specs.

My reasoning to go ahead an purchase the Mega was based on the fact that to me it would feel like an upgrade since I was coming from my old Note.

After using the Mega all my fears of it being underpowered and slow were gone. The device has a large bright crisp LCD display which I can now see clearly in daylight! The 1.5 GB RAM is handling my multitasking very well as I've yet seen a launcher redraw occur. The device is very snappy and has had no issues playing large MKV files. One of the coolest features that I was excited about was the IR port. Now you can control all your living room devices with your phone. The i9200 camera is on par with the galaxy note 2. For some reason the mega 6.3 i9205 that I tested had a poor performing camera. This i9200 performs much better, not sure if different firmware is the reason. Either way I'm much happier with the camera quality on the i9200.

The big win with this phone is the sheer amount of real estate you get. The original Note fits within the Mega 6.3's display area. You aren't just getting a phone when you get a Mega 6.3 you are also getting a small tablet. This device is a true Phablet. While the Note 1 and 2 were big devices the Mega elevates the browsing and media viewing experience to a true tablet level experience. If this is what you are interested in then I highly recommend picking up this device. So to recap, this device has a great display, versatile form factor, decent camera and great performance.

And I hope I don't understate that the battery life is AMAZING!. I'm used to phones beeping low battery warnings around 5-6pm. With the Mega I no longer have to worry about my battery life. I literally cannot kill the battery. By the time I hook up the charger at night its 11PM and the Mega still has 20% battery left. And this is with HEAVY usage. I can take the Mega off charger at 6am and still have battery left in the very late evening.

If you are trying to win the antutu, quadrant benchmark wars then I suggest you stay away from the Mega as the S4 is the current flagship which is putting up crazy benchmark numbers.

If you are looking for a large crisp HD display with last years flagship specs and excellent real world performance then the Mega 6.3 is your device. The only thing that should hold you back from this purchase is whether you want to wait for the Note 3 which will have the S-Pen, better camera and a 1080P display. The Mega 6.3 I picked up was the 16gb version for four seventy nine shipped from e bay. The unlocked international note 3 will start at mid $700's most likely.

I can personally confirm that this phone (i9200) does work on AT&T 3G and 2G frequencies. My Mega 6.3 i9200 is running on AT&T 3G HSPA+. Unlike the unlocked Note N7000 and Galaxy S II I didn't have to enter any APN settings when I inserted my AT&T SIM. The Mega automatically defined the proper AT&T APN settings and the 3G was working great. You will need a MICRO SIM for this phone. If you have a standard sized SIM you can either cut it down to MICRO SIM size or visit an AT&T store and ask for a MICRO SIM.

The Mega 6.3 GT i9200 will NOT work with ANY AMERICAN LTE (4G) frequency. In North America we use LTE frequencies 700, 800, 1900, 1700, 2100 MHz which are bands 4, 12, 13, 17, 25

AT&T uses BAND 4 and 17 Frequencies 1700/2100 for Band 4 and 700 for Band 17

T-Mobile uses BAND 4 Frequencies 1700/2100 AWS

The i9200 has NO LTE radio so AT&T 3G HSPA+ is all you will get with the GT i9200 here in the United States. You will get 2G on T-Mobile. This phone isn't compatible with Verizon.

Horrendous customer service and unreliable product

I have had nothing but problems with this inverter. It is completely unreliable. The OST is continually tripping the unit, which causes the AC to turn off and everything attached to it. After months of the unit tripping, it finally permanently failed, error code 529, and almost caught my camper on fire. It took weeks to get the smell out. I'm a seasoned electrical engineer with many years of power supply design experience, so I know the unit was installed correctly with very heavy wires, and located closed to four 125Ahr batteries in a clean, dry and well-ventilated area.

After sending over five emails to customer service, I finally received a response after threatening to write a bad review on the internet. They instructed me to send the unit back to NY, and they would look at it. I know it was delivered through a tracking number, but after numerous emails, I still have not received even an acknowledgment that they received the unit...very frustrating to say the least.

My 2 cents...buy from a more reputable company with customer service. You may need to spend twice the money, but it is worth every penny to get something that you can install, forget and enjoy for many years.

Sony VAIO T Series SVT13124CXS 13.3-Inch Touch Ultrabook (Silver) Review

I purchased the Core i5 model with 500gb hard drive with touch. I've been using this Ultrabook for about a week and here are my observations. I'm a software developer and am used to very heavy 17" notebooks with quad-core processors, a dedicated video card, screaming SSD drives and tons of memory, so this is a huge departure from my 'norm'.

The size and weight are very good. Battery life seems to be just about at 5 hours with casual web surfing and a couple of 30 minute streaming videos from Hulu Plus. The processor (Core i5-xxxx) is fast and the combination of the mechanical 500GB hard drive and the 32gb SSD caching drive provide a fast experience. I looked into replacing both with a single 256GB SSD drive I had lying around and it is important to note that the 2.5" drive bay in this is the slim-height kind (7mm). I figured this would be the case so I'm not deducting any stars for that, but it is important to note in case you think you can upgrade it with any old SSD drive. That being said, it is going to cost about $200 more for a compatible SSD drive and that would bump the price up to what it would've cost for a core i7 model with 8gb of ram and a 256gb hard drive pre-installed. I definitely wish I had realized that first as I would've bought that model instead!

Screen is okay, definitely bright on the bright settings, however it is glossy and VERY REFLECTIVE. This is definitely a huge miss as my wife's Lenovo Twist has a great screen that is matte and way more effective to watch/use in any kind of lighting condition compared to my ultrabook. The resolution is the lowest resolution I've had in quite some time and I definitely can say I am missing 1920X 1080 resolution, however I'll get used to that and am not deducting any stars as I knew that when I ordered it. I installed Media Center into Windows 8 and hooked this up to a HD Homerun Prime (which is awesome!) and watching HD channels on this is nice, even on Wireless N. The glare however, is annoying in most lighting conditions.

Touchscreen is good, albeit finicky. I also own a Microsoft Surface that has a terrific touchscreen. The same applications, such as IE10 "metro", on the Surface work with all the gestures great. On the Sony, it sometimes takes many tries for the swipe down from the top of the screen to open the different tabs that are open or left-swipe in switches apps but doesn't go 'back' in the browser as easily as my Surface. I don't know if this can be corrected with any sensitivity settings as I haven't looked into that.

The keyboard is good. I type pretty quickly and the keys are spaced very well, have good travel, and keep up to my typing just fine. I don't really like the location of certain function keys like Delete, but that's something that I'll get used to as I use it more for development. At the price of >$800 I paid, I would've really liked a backlit keyboard, but I knew this when buying it so I'm not deducting any stars for lack thereof, however - hey Sony - start putting backlit keyboards on your ultrabooks!!!

The touchpad is quirky. I have read other reviews where this seems to be the case and I think I can adjust more settings but haven't go down that path yet as I'm trying to get used to 'what's there by default' before I make too many changes. On of the biggest annoyances is definitely that swiping anywhere close to the left-side of the touchpad will cycle through to the next application instead of moving my cursor to the right. I don't know that I want to turn that feature off and am trying my best to keep my fingers towards the middle of the touchpad when wanting to move the mouse instead of having a Windows 8 gesture take over. More on this to come when I get more used to the Sony.

FAN NOISE. This is a very common complaint everywhere on the web about these Ultrabooks. When I first unpackaged it and turned it on, the fan was screaming right away. Being that this is supposed to be a sleak & sexy ultrabook, I definitely have to deduct a bunch for this! I have a Dell Precision M6500 with a quad-core processor in it that doesn't make nearly this much noise from the multiple fans in it. Granted, it has more room for cooling in it, but Sony should've been able to figure out it's cooling/fan noise better with this. I really hope that in two years the fan doesn't burn out and I need to replace it! It seems to be on almost constantly.

Ports. This machine comes with 1 USB 3 and 1 USB 2 port on the left-hand side, which also is where the power core gets plugged in. It has a FULL sized HDMI port and D-sub port on the right, along with a gigabit network jack, SD slot (and memory stick pro), and a headset jack. I like the fact that I can use a regular HDMI cable to hook up to an external monitor or television instead of having to buy a special adapter for it. Kind of wish the D-Sub was a mini display port or mini hdmi or something more 'modern', but it is cool that you can just plug your old monitor into it without a need for another adapter.

Wireless. The wireless is a Atheros AR9485WB-EG adapter. This means that you cannot use some of the cool features of a core-i5 & Intel Display adapter. There is a cool technology called Intel WIDI which allows you to wireless display content from a machine that is compatible to your television. Unfortunately Sony didn't use a compatible Intel wireless adapter in this ultrabook so this isn't available without taking it apart and upgrading the wireless adapter. I assume this was done to keep the cost down. Wireless signal seems to be comparible with my other wireless devices throughout the household.

Overall, 3/5 stars. Some of the shortcomings I knew about prior to my purchase, others I learned when it arrived at my house. I would definitely return it if I could get a refund and search for another ultrabook that wasn't so half-baked, so be sure to read the return policy before you purchase this!!. Sony did a good job in design and aesthetics but missed on basics like an anti-glare screen and the fan constantly running. Some of the components used could've been better but they probably did this to keep the cost down so I can't take off stars for that.

I have been looking at home theater projectors for over ten years. In that time I have looked at everything from Sharpvision to Barco to Epson and Sony. Each time I would visit a home theater showroom and view a projector's image in a controlled light environment, I would decide that the image quality and brightness were not quite impressive enough. I was just could not bring myself to spend thousands for something that was a bit dissapointing. But lately, I took a look at the Panasonic PT-AR100U and the older Epson 8700UB, as well as the new Epsons, 3010/5010 series. All of these projectors have high-quality bright images. Then I saw that the Panasonic PT-AR100U's price dropped from $1999.00 to around $1000.00. I also saw that Panasonic also offered a $299.00 rebate. For $699.00, I am very satisfied. I am also projecting the PT-AR100U on a Favi 150" motorized screen (also a great quality product for the money). The projected image is really bright and vibrant with great contrast. Color accuracy and flesh tones are very acceptable right out of the box. Lens shift, zoom and keystone correction line the projected image up perfectly. The black levels are not quite as good as the Epson projectors, but it was not a deal breaker. Overall, a feature film on Bluray viewed on the PT-AR100U is quite impressive. There are certainly home theater projectors which certainly achieve higher image quality, but you would be spending thousands more. If you are looking for an excellent quality projector at an affordable price, I belive you would be very satisfied with the PT-AR100U.

Bought this as a replacement for another APC 3000VA Unit that had been doing its thing for 5+ years.

The LCD display provides far more info than the old units, which just had indicator lights. The network card was simple enough to set up--I wouldn't recommend using the APC software though, as I couldn't get it to work. Scheduled diagnostics with an emailed report help give peace of mind. Temperature probe was included, an unexpected bonus.

My only complaint is that this unit has a L5 twist-lock type outlet where the old units had 2 typical outlets, and so reduced the number of normal devices that can be plugged in. I don't see this listed anywhere in the description, and there were no pictures of the back of the unit.

So overall a great product, just wish the description was more clear as to what types of plugs the product supports.

I had one sharing permission issue right out of the box. I called Buffalo tech support and they advised me to and reset the device and update the firmware. That resolved the permissions issue. My only regret would be I didn't opt for the larger hard disks becasue I have the drives mirrored. other than that it's been about a week and no issues whatsoever. My only complaint is the drive access and cover should have been made a little more sturdy, that said the unit is quite and sleek looking. I noticed some reports in the Buffalo forum about Win 7 systems dropping the drive mappings but no such issues on my WinXP, Vista and Linux Ubuntu systems. I have local & remote access 24/7, I'm happy with my new NAS
