A quick follow up to the other two reviews to say I agree that is a great server, and I was in the same boat regarding being faced with a HUGE hard drive bill for both the caddies and drives which they claim is good value for money!

I've found www.servercaddies.co.uk who stock the new Gen8 caddies in both the 2.5" and 3.5" versions - mine arrived on Friday and I've installed them today.

It all worked perfectly with some Seagate drives from eBuyer and no errors are shown through the LED's or otherwise. Purely in the RAID controller it just gives a warning that you aren't using Genuine HP Hard Drives.

It isn't shown as an error though, just a warning and nothing visual on the front of the server which is good. Overal 4 stars!
